I don't know whether I absolute love or detest children. But what I do know is that I have a best friend that's four years old and is named Austin. And he's my little brother, we've decided, as of yesterday. Sigh. I kinda want to adopt him. With any luck, he'll stay four years old for another thirteen years (at which point I'll adopt him).

To elaborate, I've been working at Sandcastle Childcare Center for my senior projects and will be through the following week.

We watched The Little Mermaid today. I love that movie. Mostly for "Part of Your World." I still can't get over that song. Greg wouldn't sing it with me though :(

Courtney Love, all things withstanding, is an incredible musician and songwriter. I realized today how poignant and wonderful "Pacific Coast Highway" and "Never Go Hungry" are - ironic that a song about coming clean from drug use would come out right around the time I cast away my anger towards (mostly) my ex.

I've been listening to Joanna Newsom lately. I don't know what it is about her, but I am really loving it. She also sometimes uses a Wurlitzer, which you know means I already am hard for her music.

I finished up high school with roughly a 3.6 GPA. Lower that I wanted, but I suppose it's a big improvement from grades in years past.

Things are finally coming together. I'm done with high school. "All the world just stopped now. If you need me, me and Neil'll be hanging out with the Dream King."
